About the Collaborative
The ARE VA Collaborative is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting and providing a platform for local and independent artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs. We are a team...a family of creatives who are passionate about building our brands, supporting each other and building the community. Through artist showcases, pop-up events, and other community-centered activities, we foster creative networking and brand building experiences. Recognizing the power of collaboration and education, we are developing opportunities for learning and growth in the creative industries. Our commitment goes beyond entertainment, as we actively give back to the community by organizing food drives, clothing and blanket donations, and supporting those in need. Together, we build connections, inspire creativity, and make a positive impact.
I started the Collaborative when my event venue was in operation to provide a collaborative space and platform for local artists, entrepreneurs and creatives. Though, the brick and mortar is not currently open, we have various venues in the community who see and believe in the vision of the Collaborative and have opened their doors to us in order to help support the mission and contiue to grow the platform. As a non-profit we also continue to host events and offer services that are geared toward highlighting, helping and supporting local creatives.

This membership is for independent and or local artists, creatives and entrepreneurs. The ARE VA Collaborative takes pride in brand growth and brand building. As creatives, we understand the importance of brand building and other opportunities and services needed to ensure success. We offer website building, branding services, photo/brand for your products and headshots for those who are in need. Promotional services are also inured in membership. Collaborative members also get first notice on vendor spaces at all Collaborative events and events supported/sponsored by the Collaborative. Vendor space at out Monthly Small Business Pop up shop is also included in monthly membership. New members receive welcome kit with branding materials
