Custom Cake Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions: 

*Please read over your invoice THOROUGHLY. Your invoice will serve as your record of the order you have placed as well as receipt for proof of payment. Orders are filled according to the invoice so if it is NOT on your invoice, it may NOT be included in your order. 

*A minimum of TWO WEEKS is preferred for all custom cakes/treats. If I am able to accept a request with less than two week's notice, I will. Please note that a $25 rush fee will be applied to the total order cost.

*Retainers are required on orders totaling $200 or more. Retainer amount is 50% of your total for orders totaling $200-$500, and 20% for orders over $500. Remaining balance should be paid in full by no less than TWO WEEKS prior to your event/order date. 

*FOR ALL ORDERS TOTALING LESS THAN $200, and for ALL requests accepted with LESS THAN TWO WEEK'S NOTICE, PAYMENT IN FULL IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR ORDER (REGARDLESS OF ORDER AMOUNT)!! 

*Submission of your retainer/payment confirms your order and reserves your date. Payment of your invoice indicates that you have FULLY read and agree to these terms and conditions. 

*RETAINER/PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BEFORE WORK CAN BEGIN ON YOUR ORDER. 

*Cancelation with a refund of your retainer is allowed up to 48 hours after the payment has posted. After 48 hours RETAINERS ARE NON REFUNDABLE/REFUND IS AT THE DISCRETION TDDRVA. 

*I do not copy other artists' work identically. If you have included an inspirational photo with your order, please note that photos are INSPIRATIONAL and I will strive to make your order look as close to the inspiration as possible. However, I reserve the right to place/add my own personal touches/changes as needed according to availability of products, my capability and budget for the order.

*Please also note a minimum of two weeks prior to your event date is needed for changes to be made to your order/design ⁶and changes cannot be guaranteed depending on availability. Changes may also incur additional charges.

*If you have placed an order for less than two weeks away, your support is greatly appreciated! Please note time requirements for future orders, thank you so much! 

                ****Product Pick Up****

*If you are picking up products, please make sure you arrive with a COOL vehicle and a FLAT space away from sunlight for your treats to travel. 

*If you are picking up a cake or chocolate/chocolate dipped items, cakes should not travel on front/bucket seats or in the line of sunlight as this could cause shifting. All items should stay away from driect sunlight and heat.

*The Dessert Diva RVA is not responsible for products that sustain damage due to improper transport.
